Input text and press a button to create any number of your own original, animated, AI voiced, lip-syncing, 3D avatar narrated short stories. You can alter size, lighting, and position of your unique, non-fungible narrator avatar and select voice, accent, tone, and pace. Construct your own virtual environments across multiple scenes by adding your own images, text, and script to each. No technical or coding knowledge is required with the simple slider-operated story creation tool. Finished stories can be emailed, stored-and-linked-to, or embeded in a website. They play entirely in popular browsers so no server or special application is needed to enjoy. Users move from scene to scene on desktops using their left and right arrow keys, or by tapping or clicking on arrows at the sides of each scene on mobile devices. |
Stories can consist of up to 9999 scenes. Scenes contain your unique NFT avatar and any number of elements. Element size and position are adjustable and can contain an image, colored background, color gradient, and/or text. You can type or paste text and control the font family, size, color, alignment, padding, list styles, plus letter, word, and line spacing. All settings are made using sliders in the story creator tool shown to the right. You can manipulate saturation, brightness, lighting, blur, shadow, border, size, position, rotation, layer, opacity, and click-to-link to another scene. Absolutely zero technical or coding knowledge is required.

Element opacity is adjustable and each can be rotated in the X, Y, and Z axis with layering control. You can add entrance and exit animations to scene elements as well. Those include slide-in/out from top, bottom, left, and right; zoom in/out, and fade-in/out with control over ease, delay, and duration. You can create new, copy, paste and delete elements. You can create element mouse-over popups and enable linking to another scene by tapping or clicking on any element. With that, reader input can be used to navigate their own branching journey within your story. |
Any single element in a scene can contain the script for that scene. Simply input text and press a button The voice will be generated using artificial intelligence for very high realism. Avatar lip-sync and body gesture animations are completely automatic. The generated voice is subsequently stored within the story file itself to ensure portability and instantaneous response. Nine English voices are available in either gender. Those include US, British, Indian, and Australian accents - as well as additional control over voice tone and pace. You can choose to display the script, as shown in the example above, or hide it from view. |

In addition to voice, avatar size, position and lighting are adjustable. Avatar narrators are fully clothed, full-body 3D models moving in 3D space. Hair and clothing physics respond to movement for ultra high realism. Avatar settings are global to each story to maintain consistency from scene to scene. Additionally, Text2Motion artists and engineers are able to create accurate custom 'deep fake' avatar clones from ordinary photographs adding clothing in any style. That includes creating a synthesized digital clone of anyone's voice given a clean recording sample. Contact Text2Motion support below for more information. |
Once completed, individual HTML stories can be shared via email; stored and linked-to like any document; or easily embedded into a web page. No server or hosting site is required to either create or enjoy your stories. They run fully native in current browsers like Edge, Chrome, Firefox, and Safari, including mobile devices. A new version of your story is created every time you save it, the original story is never altered or overwritten. A completed story is no longer editable. |

What is included for owners?+
What level of support can I expect?+
What is the file architecture?+
So it runs entirely in browser: What is compatibility like?+
The Storyteller platform is believed to be compatible with any current HTML5 compatible browser on any device. Of course we can't test all possible combinations, but have verified the most popular. Compatibility EXCLUDES Internet Explorer and some older browsers.
I would like something different. Can my avatar be customized?+
Yes, our artists and engineers can modify or create entirely original avatars in any genre. We can even clone the appearance and voice of anyone given photos and a voice recording. We can accommodate approximately 40 foreign languages as well. We cannot clone anyone without their permission however - so no politicians, movie stars, or sports figures. Contact us at: support@text2motion.com for more information.
What if Text2Motion (Storyteller author) is gone some day?+
No matter. Owners will have possession of all files and know-how to re-host the avatar files anywhere as well as obtain and install their own voice API key. AI voice text-to-speech services are provided by Google Cloud Services - they aren't likely to be going out of business anytime soon. In the meantime everything for your Storyteller is functional from day one and ready to go.
How big are the story files?+
That all depends upon the length of the scripts and the images inserted. The base story file size is less than 1MB and it grows from there according to content. Voice files and images consume the most space, text very little. It is best practice to compress images before adding them to your story. You can do that rather easily using PowerPoint - Google how to do it. The story environment is a 16:9 (HD) aspect ratio. Background images using those porportions will display with least distortion.
I emailed a story and it won't play on iPhone. What gives?+
iPhone Safari won't play an emailed file with embedded scripts directly for security reasons. The recipient can save the emailed file first then run it, or you can store the story in something like DropBox and share a link to the story instead. You cannot use YouTube or Vimeo to host your stories - they are HTML, not video - even though they behave like video.
Everything is in English. Are there other options?+
Up to 40 languages are available, contact support@Text2Motion for more information.
